Shawn Roman

VP, A&E and Construction

Shawn Coste Roman has over 29 years of experience in the real estate development and construction industries. She serves as the Managing Partner of Crenwood Development Partners, a consulting firm that provided real estate development consulting and construction management services for many real estate developers in metro Atlanta. In this capacity, Shawn oversees the company business operations and development process for all real estate deals. She has managed various real estate projects and capital improvement programs valued at more than $750 million regionally and abroad. Her broad areas of expertise included strategic planning, implementation and management of various demolition, affordable housing, capital improvement & site development projects. 

Shawn began her career working as a general contractor for one of the largest global contractors, Skanska Construction, where she was an office/project engineer, building such Atlanta legacy projects as Centennial Olympic Park, Turner Field, and State Farm Arena. Shawn migrated to affordable housing working as a Construction Manager for various entities including Atlanta Housing and Pinnacle Realty. She was responsible for the capital improvements program of over 12 properties totaling over $28M over a period of three years. Her additional affordable housing experience includes her work as a Project Manager at The Integral Group, where she managed the demolition, public improvements, and construction of several transformative HOPE VI affordable housing communities including Centennial Place, Villages at Carver, Scholars Landing and Auburn Pointe to name a few.

Shawn holds a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic, now Kennesaw State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
